From letter of engagement to signed report

Financial auditing here follows a fixed sequence so finance teams know when documents are due, when the warehouse is visited, and when draft findings appear.

Intake & engagement letter

We confirm the reporting entity, period, form of report, and fee basis. Independence checks and a retainer accompany the signed letter before any ledger access.

Document request & planning

You receive a request list covering trial balance, general ledger extracts, inventory count plans, and prior statements. We schedule observation days and bank confirmation mailings.

Fieldwork

Examiners test material balances on site or in a secure document room. Inventory observation and cut-off procedures happen on the agreed count date—not weeks later from photographs alone.

Draft findings discussion

Proposed adjustments and management observations are discussed while evidence is fresh. This is the moment to clarify related-party facts or shipping timing before the report hardens.

Final report & closing

You receive the examination report, management letter, and a short closing note on open items. One clarification call is included for statutory engagements.
