Information we collect

Enquiry forms may collect your name, email address, selected examination type, reporting period, and message content. Engagement work may further include contact details of finance staff, directors named in related-party questionnaires, and correspondence required for bank confirmations.

Purposes

We use personal information to respond to estimates, perform examinations, issue reports, meet professional record-keeping duties, and—only if you accept analytics cookies—understand aggregate site traffic. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Enquiry messages without an engagement are retained up to twenty-four months. Engagement working papers and reports are retained for the period required by applicable professional and legal obligations in Japan, typically at least seven years unless a longer period is required.

User rights

Subject to Japanese law and professional confidentiality, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and you may object to certain processing. Confidential engagement files may limit what can be disclosed to third parties.

International transfers

If a confirmation request or client group requires correspondence outside Japan, personal information may be transferred with appropriate contractual or professional safeguards. We identify such needs in planning discussions when practicable.
